EFFECTIVE joins forces with the GLAUKOS project

The success of circular and biobased transitions will depend on one side of collaborative and innovative value chains like in the case of EFFECTIVE. The innovative biobased solutions and initiatives that are been developed can be synergic and need to connect in order to form an even stronger biobased stakeholder network. 

Glaukos aims to develop eco-friendly textiles for the fishing gear and clothing industry. The ambition is to redesign the complete life cycle of bio-based fibres and coatings to significantly reduce the carbon and plastic footprint and to mitigate microplastic pollution. Glaukos consortium involves experts and stakeholders along the value chains covering renewable feedstocks, textile application materials and two end-of-life solutions.
