The EFFECTIVE consortium meets in Novara

First success and outlook to 2019

Report from the second meeting of partners in Novara, Italy

The second meeting of partners took place in Novara, Italy on December 4th 2018. Hosted in Novamont's high-tech headquarters, we updated each other on the progress made in the past 6 months. Most of the Work Packages are already fully operational and first results coming in are encouraging.

Teams of Novamont, Aquafil, Sudzucker and Genomatica have been working hard to validate different types of sustainable feedstocsk and optimizing processes for converting them into building blocks for the production of bio-based polymers. LCE and CIRCE have also begin condisting research on developing a sustainability framework and exploring the social dimensions of our bio-based solutions. The project's communication strategy, designed by Circular Change has introduced the visual image, website and leaflet. Our next step is to begin forming  the external stakeholder group. Our partner brands H&M, VAUDE, Balsan and Carvico are set to present the EFFECTIVE project at some of next years' key industry events and conferences.

We are truly excited about discoveries, successes and challenges that await us in 2019!
