Strong support for Bio-circular Economy at the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference 2019

More than 350 circular economy stakeholders from across Europe shared their success stories and the challenges they face during the second day of the Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference, hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee on 7 March 2019.

The EFFECTIVE consortium was represented by Ladeja Godina Košir, the elected Chair of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform and the project's communication and dissemination leader, colleague Niko Korpar and by Fabrizio Calenti from Aquafil. 

Speakers, including Frans Timmermans and Jirki Katainen epxressed strong support for the circular economy and confirmed Europe's resolve to act as a global leader in the field of sustainable development.
