Glaukos Project

Glaukos aims to develop eco-friendly textiles for the fishing gear and clothing industry. The ambition is to
redesign the complete life cycle of bio-based fibres and coatings to significantly reduce the carbon and
plastic footprint and to mitigate microplastic pollution.
Glaukos consortium involves experts and stakeholders along the value chains covering renewable
feedstocks, textile application materials and two end-of-life solutions.
