Role in the project

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) provides environmental sustainability research & consulting services and tools, with particular regard to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Eco-design and environmental communication such as Environmental and Sustainability Product Declarations (EPD and SPD).

Since early 2000, LCE has been working to help private companies and business associations implementing a more sustainable way of operating, by supplying strategic, data, and decision-management solutions to improve their environmental, economic and social performances.

Important activities also concern the implementation of environmental management systems according to ISO 14001, safety management systems according to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 22000 standards.

LCE undertakes educational activities in LCA and eco-design as well, regularly offering company seminars and higher education for Master Degree Courses.

LCE is based in Turin (Italy) with offices in Venice (Italy) and Nottingham (UK) and is represented in the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment Editorial Board as well as in the Technical Committee and in the Board of Directors of the International EPD System
